Mr. Jernigan heads one of the largest law firms in North Carolina, but this painting was created to grace the Jernigans' lovely Raleigh home. I enjoyed including the charming pet, and a hint of the extensive collection of fine books and historical objets d'art, including a Dresden porcelain figure of Napoleon. J.H.S.
