Art Director for Rev. Billy Graham

or nine years (1961-1969) I had the privilege of working on the staff of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association as one of two art directors. It was an exciting time. I was given fascinating assignments, such as a large painting of Christ for the headquarters prayer chapel (left photo), and advertising posters for theatre films (right photo). But I wanted to be a portrait painter, and for that I had to go to New York. J.H.S
